I applied for my Wear and Carry in late Dec. (got fingerprinted, have my PCN and tracking #'s)
I applied for my HQL 1/6/16 and submitted the PCN & tracking numbers from when I was fingerprinted for W&C, thinking it was no problem, just a link to my prints stored in some database somewhere.
Get a call today from licensing division saying everything for my HQL approval has cleared except for fingerprints.
They say they can't use the prints associated with Wear & Carry while it's being investigated. Said I either need to wait for W&C to be approved and THEN they'll have access to prints OR go spend another $50 for a second set of prints.
Does this make sense to anyone else or does anyone have suggestions on how to move this along without spending even more $?
I thought-once my prints are in the system they should be available to any agency for any purpose?
