How about a hybrid Winchester 1886/1892 in S&W 500 or 460 Magnum? Intriguing, I am thinking about the Model 90 in .454 Casull, but 3K+ is not cheap!

Answer #1 - Big Horns are fine rifles, and I would be tickled pink to have one .

Answer #2 - Rossi offers a rifle in .454 , and a modern M92 clone in .45 , with " Paco Level Handloads " is in the same ballpark of power .

I thought Rossi discontinued the .454 guns? I have one and they work really well but hard to get to chamber .45 and .454.

I would love a Big Horn gun and keep thinking about one to capstone my lever action fetish but have a hard time figuring out what it can do that my Rossis, Marlins and Winchesters cant.
