When installing the aftermarket trigger spring be sure the longer spring tab leans toward the trigger not the housing wall. It can be put in leaning toward the wall and will hang up on the trigger reset.

    Sage advice

Geisselle really needs to make a trigger for them. it didn't take him long to come up with a solution for the Tavor.

Any one running an rmr like a vortex venom or something of the sort on one of these? Thought about one, figure it would be really easy to pick up the dot on and easy on the eyes.

    Some upgrades

I'm going to use my Scorpion pistol in a competition shoot later in the month, so I thought I'd change out some parts that bothered me.

The HBI Theta extended charging handle went in quickly, as did the HBI Prostock Mag Release Lever. The mini AK fire selector on the right side was gravy too.

I've yet to get around to disassembling the trigger pack for curiosity's sake, but I bought a Delta trigger and reduced weight trigger spring kit so I'll have that opportunity. After watching HBI's video it should be easy as well, but I'll do that when I get time later in the week, then test it all at the range Sunday morning.

While a CZ pistol fan, I wasn't sure if the Scorpion pistol (SB braced) would be much fun but it's an easy range gun. We'll see how well it does in the PCC division in a few weeks...

These are tons of fun. That trigger spring kit makes the trigger much more palatable.

The set up you have there is a great start.

My only regret is that I bought the rifle instead of the pistol. Almost impossible to sbr the rifle. Should have just ran a braced pistol and said the hell with the crown.

I picked up a grey one Friday. I want the PDW brace, and a better trigger. I have a spare Vortex Venom looking for a new home, looks like it has one now.

I need to find a better safety

Do you mean the right safety because it digs into your thumb?

I went with the HB Industries mini-AK safety. Not only does it get rid of that problem but also makes it easy to manipulate with my right dominant hand...

I did the safety delete on the right hand side, but the safety is tough to manipulate in general.
actually the one I point out above makes it easy to use from the right-hand! I'm going to go ahead and buy the left-hand one just so I have a match set.

Yes, I don't care for the thumb grinder. Thanks for the insight

There was a sale on the PDW brace and mags package online so I ordered it on Monday, and got it today.

And I found out that you can swap out the handguard and barrel for the shorter micro version, so I'll be getting them next month, along with the trigger pack upgrade. In all, I will have as much into this as it would cost for a new Micro.

My Scorpion pistol is a hoot but I picked up a carbine today for sanctioned action shooting matches. I'm not even going to bother shooting it until I upgrade the charging handle, magazine release and right side safety. Oddly, the trigger on the rifle feels much smoother and less effort than the crunchy original on the pistol, so time will tell if a trigger and spring are necessary. Wish someone made a decent drop in trigger group...

Well, I finally got my replacement pistol from CZ. Defect in the mount for the hand grip. Jeez.

Anyhow, Reddings in Gettysburg, my go to for magazines, didn't have Scorpion mags. Anyone have a go to place in southern PA or perhaps Leesburg that carries them in stock?

Nice pistol. Hopefully I can pick one up later this year.
