    Its a felony to even think of owning a 30 rd magazine in MD. MSP will come in your sleep and take all your guns and chewing gum if you are in found posession of one.

    1) The search function prevents responses like the one above.

    2) It is legal to own, use, and transport 30 round AR magazines in Maryland. It is illegal to sell or buy them. However, you can either a) buy them in another state and bring them back or b) order them online, have them shipped to another state, and then bring them back.

    3) Not sure how the new laws will affect #2.

    I am new to MD, what are the rules regarding ownership, buying/selling, using, transporting 30 round AR magazines (soon to be 20 round magazines....) in the state of MD? Thanks


    And did you mean 'soon to be 10/9/8 round magazines'?
