I'd contact the county police and the Local FBI office. See Something Say something. I suspect they will be investigating more in the near term.

Same problem local to me. I believe they're recieving instructions to avoid accountability. You probably got some of the same canned responses from an administrator.

In these cases there seems to be great reluctance to brand the person as a mentally disturbed individual simply because he is a kid. They put them on strong medication and send them right back to school. When someone has made multiple overt threats, it has gone far beyond a kid with problems fitting in. I simply cannot understand how the administrators can find this to be an acceptable practice given recent events.

I can get not willing to diagnose outside of their profession but the problem with some of these kids is not that they are being medicated, its when the medication has stopped being taken. Doctors know that. The government knows that. I know that.
The responses that come to mind right away were, don't worry I have been specifically trained to deal with such an event.
I have special search power above local law enforcement.
I can place my body between students and potential harm.
I have a pulse for whats going on in the school environment.
I cannot provide specifics regarding matters of student confidentiality.

Bunch of I's in there, no we or us, its a joke. They know it, we know it but until the leftist are eradicated or at least prevented from being involved in the educational system it will continue to be a laissez faire style of leadership even in times of distress or when corrective actions are immediately needed.
    Right out of the playbook.

Sad state of affairs were in.

And once the FBI gets involved ...

Go after the liberal/progressive, and overpaid MoCo school superintendent, his officials, and the school board. :mad54:

Received this email this afternoon, they won't add cops in the school but will escort the kids when they skip school. What kind of BS is this? It also appears to be a skipping of school coordinated with Jamie Ratskin. https://storage.googleapis.com/pt04...b1/Student_Walkout_Press_Release_Feb_2018.jpg

    Dear Richard Montgomery Community,
In the wake of the horrific shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School last week, school districts across the nation, including Montgomery County, have received an increase in threats and rumored reports of threats. These have come in the form of social media posts, emails, phone calls and in-person conversations. As a result, there has been a legitimate elevated level of concern in our community. Unfortunately, adding to the unease of our current climate is a lot of misinformation being perpetuated through student social media. As I shared on Saturday, at no time has there been any credible threat to student or staff safety here at Richard Montgomery High School. In partnership with Rockville City Police and MCPS central office, we follow a strict protocol upon receiving any information indicating a possible threat. Please know that we have, and will continue, to follow these protocols. I appreciate the information from staff, parents and students and will continue to communicate with you moving forward.
I also need to make you aware of a planned student walkout in response to the tragic events at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School. The walkout is scheduled for tomorrow after second period. Students are planning on taking the metro to Washington D.C. and will march to the US Capitol where they intend on meeting with Congressman Jamie Raskin and other leaders to engage in a rally (press release attached).
Please know that this event is in no way sanctioned or approved by Richard Montgomery High School or MCPS. Any student who chooses to participate in this will be in violation of school attendance policy and will be marked with an unexcused absence. With student safety as a priority, I have already spoken with Rockville City police to inform them of the possibility of this event. My hope is to have a police presence along the route between Richard Montgomery High School and the metro station along Monroe Street.
Thank you for your continued communication and collaboration. Please contact me at (301) 610-8000 if you have any questions or concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Damon Monteleone,
    Principal

No, it's OK... The school is keeping an eye on him!!

Oh, wait... until he shows up late one day and goes 'off-script'...

Get MCPD and FBI on it, for sure. And the media, because even if they're reading it here they won't admit they learned about it from the serfs.

Keep shouting FIRE until someone answers the call. Local police, state police, every news media within 50 miles of the school. Also don't forget your Congress Critters. I doubt they would want this in their district.

    Don't forget to document EVERYTHING.

Mandate the school system transfer him to RICA. Don't let up on it and tell them if they don't you taking this to the media. Also let all of the Maryland delegates know. Especially the liberal ones so if something happens they will be just as culpable as the school system, local pd and local fbi. Don't let up. There is already a bad and dangerous history behind this kid.

See this thread, especially the last pages: https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=220282

Hand grenades, C4, detonators were all replicas. Shotgun, AR15 legally purchased and sounds like belonged to someone else in the house - not located in student's bedroom.

About the only thing worth noting is he took the handgun to school at least twice.

    Hummm.

Socially awkard , list of people piss him off , history of threats .

But Over same period of years hasn't carried thru threats , or otherwise made any assaults ? No evidence of any physical preparations for attacks , no present access to firearms in the US ?

Glass half full answer - Probably just grumpy , awakard kid shit talking , but never actually doing anything. Similar to whole numbers percentage points of teens everywhere .

Glass half empty answer - Statistically "probably not " isn't same thing as definately won't . The Risk is definately greater than Zero.

BUT even if the pessimistic interpretation is closer, removing him ( short of moving into long term locked in situation ) isn't going to help . He'll still know where the school is , and any grudges against school/ staff/ students will be intensified .

Presuming the OP takes the Risk Greater than Zero viewpoint , what he does have absolute control over is the location of His children . Have them be someplace else .

Game the system to transfer to other public school. Step up to private/ Catholic school . Home school . Etc .

There was a threat at Harford Technical High School yesterday. The Sheriff department said they investigated, interviewed the kid and family and deems the threat to be minimal. However the school had a lot of deputies on the grounds and inside the school this morning. I don't have any more information, hopefully it was just a young punk trying to talk big words.
