    I have been shooting a few times and have not gotten used to the crowd that gathers behind me after this puppy sounds off a few times!

    New as well

    I am new as well, and the information in this post about the different shooting ranges and leagues in the Germantown area are very helpful.

    I currently live in VA, but will be moving to Maryland in about 6 months. I will most likely be moving to the Gaithersburg / Germantown area. The Izaak Walton Rockville Chapter / Damascus chapter and the Cresap rifle club look interesting.

    There is also IWL -BCC chapter located in Poolesville, Md.
    Real nice facility with approx. 550 acres. Check out the site online.

    Lots of shooting ranges/clubs

    I never knew there were so many shooting clubs especially all the Izaak Walton Leagues all over the place. These places just do not show up when you go a google search.
