The APR is pretty sweet. There's a market for an AR-style gun that doesn't require a buffer tube.

Interesting. A double barrel AR, basically.

Seems like it could be problematic though. More parts means more room for malfunctions.

They are select fire, intermediate cartridge. By definition,they are assault rifles.

Looks interesting, I would like to see the design of the version with no buffer tube. The sand burial would have been a lot more impressive if he had left the dust cover open. I think plenty of ARs would function fine after the "real world desert test" performed in the video.

I noticed that too with the dust cover. I don't see anything really "amazing" about this video other than the quality of marketing BS that is being handed to us. "Stress Test" my rear. Plenty of guns just like the GILBOA here in the USA, and they are Made in the USA and not in Israel.
