The thing about gun control is that it unexpectedly gets a breath of life and opportunity to exploit when something untoward occurs. Right now, large elements of the world's political, cultural, and economic stability are eroding and imploding in slo mo, so even these recent events are overshadowed by a rash of other things being exploited. After the Charleston incident, for instance, it was more important to go after a flag.

"Assault weapons" are more deadly than other types on guns. LMAO. Lower caliber than deer rifles, and only difference between them and evil looking rifles is the standard mag caps of said evil rifles.
The part about strengthening NICS ( though he doesn't say NICS, but implies it) that is hilarious-stupid is that MD is pisspoor in reporting everything to it.
