I'm Ronald and I'll be getting my HK USP .40 Custom Combat next week after the 7-day wait Limbo. Started with a Colt 1911, switched to a Glock and now HK. Any inputs on the HK would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

    Aftermarket parts for HKs are
-Very hard to find, if not impossible
    -VERY expensive

I've come to the conclusion, based on overwhelming evidence, that HKs are overpriced for what you get. They are VERY reliable, but not so much more so than a Glock, say, to warrant the extra cost.

-Hi cap mags (more than 12rds) do not exist for the USP
    -Night sights can be found
-Aftermarket grips are a necessity and ARE available. Hogue HandAll makes an excellent one for the USP.
-I have had zero feeding issues with any ammo I've run through her, from dirty Magtech to Federal HST.
-She has NEVER had a stoppage of any kind
-The muzzle flip is considerable, the compact especially is NOT forgiving at all of even minor errors in shooting fundamentals
