I followed the good doctor's advice and got a pulse oximeter. If I hold my breath really hard (like "I gotta breathe NOW!" hard), I can make o2 levels drop to 93% so I guess it's working.
Got one just recently too. Amazing thing is there were several still available at our local Walmart in GA.

Picked up a bottle of Jefferson Small Batch Bourbon? What should we be buying? Figure we have a week or two until this peaks and every 5th person has it, not sure I want to touch a liquor store door at that point.

We also ordered some string beans. No. 10 cans. Awhile back she ordered 100 lbs of cow manure. The manure came in plastic bags inside two cardboard boxes. We assumed the two boxes were the beans. We don't open the boxes right away and all this time I thought it must have been a double order.

I told her the other day, damn if that ain't a lot of beans in those boxes. We opened them today and seen it was the manure. Beans are coming Friday. Hope the beans don't taste like sh-t. :)

I've been looking for sugar in the grocery stores for a while now and today I scored a 25 pound bag for $13.99. In case you were wondering, 25 pounds of sugar will fill 14 quart mason jars with about two cups left over.

I only have to go to work every other day now so I had some time to gather some things this week. I picked up about 15 lbs of dry beans, 20 lbs rice, flour, sugar, yeast. Both fridges and freezers are packed. Some extra ammo for the handguns. I also bought a metal trash can at Lowe's, we've only ever had mice in the garage about 3 years ago but I'm not loosing any of the dry goods to mice.
With me just being on call half the time now I'll teach the kids how to build an AR as one of their school lessons.

Don't forget the 5 gallon white buckets at Walmart in the paint section are food safe, and only $2.96 each. They have available lids as well. I picked up 5 more last night.

I need sugar to feed my honeybees. Hard to find these days!

Yeah, I have salt in one of those but I prefer sugar and flour and rice in jars. I have a canister for each in the kitchen and when they get low I just grab a jar from the stash and refill the canister. That way I keep rotating it without having to open 25 pounds at once. The jars work better for me.

Had some time on my hands, so I did some rearranging of my two safes. I discovered a safe queen Sig SP2340 that was my son’s duty weapon which he gave me a few years ago when his department went to a 9mm. I shot it a few times, then put it away along with 300 rounds of ammo. The night sights are still bright. It may end up on my nightstand.

I went and updated my Will and Life Insurance beneficiaries, as the previous one were a few years old.

Unfortunately, the County Register of Wills is closed to the Public until at least May 4th!

Not looking to overreact, but probably should have had this updated sooner.

Not for myself, but for my 96 year old mother-in-law who is in a nursing home. We stocked up in January on incontinence supplies, which are not included in her monthly fee. She’s not running low yet, but we checked several on-line sources in anticipation of having to order more for direct shipment to the nursing home. IF they are available the prices have tripled.
