I have a CZ VZ-58 made by CZ it has a 16 barrel. Is it possible to have a brake or flash hider mounted (permanently)?

    Thank you

    that is the original brake

I was once told here that Czech military rifles weren't issued with flash suppressors, so I didn't put one on mine. But then this morning I found this...

Very similar in design/looks to the original M1 Carbine flash suppressor.

I just went with this one on my VZ2008 http://www.cncwarrior.com/Night-Brake-w-detent-notches-M14-X-1-RH-p/24282.htm

I took that off as soon as I got mine home.

Russky style muzzle brake on a Czech style rifle?

    Nope, can't have that.

Yeah I swapped mine to the CNC warrior brake, now you got me interested in the conical one you posted above. I've never seen a VZ58 with this style brake on it.

    From wiki:

vz. 58 Pi (Pěchotní s infračerveným zaměřovačem—"infantry with infrared sight"), which is similar to the vz. 58 P but includes a receiver-mounted dovetail bracket (installed on the left side of the receiver) used to attach an NSP2 night sight; it also has a detachable folding bipod and an enlarged conical flash suppressor.

You can see the dovetail bracket above his thumb in the pic in post #13.

    Alright, here we go. :)

Much more gooder. Now it looks more like Czech, instead of a cancelled Czech. :innocent0
