I recently picked up a really nice condition wwII era O/U. The gun has double triggers. Besides just tossing a round into the chamber and seeing which trigger makes it go boom. Can anyone please tell me which trigger fires which barrel? Google hasn't been much help.

Just load 2 used, empty shells in it, break open & cock the gun & pull one of the triggers a few times. You'll be able to see which shell primer has had multiple hammer strikes.

put 2 snap caps or two spent shells in there with a piece of masking tape over the primers, pull the trigger and it should be obvious which one had a hit

I only had some high brass 3" hulls laying around so I simply put the tape over the face of the chamber. Appears the first trigger fires the bottom barrel and the top barrel is fired by the rear trigger.
