So yesterday, I took a trip up to Cabellas, mainly to pick up some 40 round AR mags. They had a Magpul K-2 grip, but not the MOE SL grip. Grabbed it anyway as it was kind of an experiment.

I don't shoot with my arm out, and I have been noticing the standard grip angle as of late, as it makes my wrist uncomfortable. (probably age.... ) Anyhoo, since I was home today, I decided to put it on, and try it out.

I took it to AGC, and fired my AR every possible way. Bench resting, sitting, kneeling, and standing. I couldn't find one firing position that I didn't like.

My only complaint, is that the grip is a bit wider than the Hogue (my hands are small) and of course doesn't have that wonderful rubberized feel to it....

Have others experimented with the "more" vertical grips? Would love to hear your experiences with Magpul or other brands, good or bad.

I use the BCM mod3 on 3 rifles and love it. The grip angle definitely makes it more comfortable.

Another happy K2 user here. Have the regular, not the + version.
I like the texture -- grippy but not overly so.

For smaller hands, the BCM grip should accommodate. I have a thread around here somewhere comparing the K2 to the BCM.

I like the umbrella corp. I do wish it has more texture but that's always something I can fix. I have the rubberized magpul grip on one and it is honestly a little slippy when wet.
