PSA has a pretty great deal all things considered and it seems to have flown under the radar here.

For $249.99 you can get a Geissele SSA-E 2 Stage, 3.5lb FCG AND an MOE
    lower parts kit.

The LPK (less FCG) usually runs $90 on its own and the Geissele Trigger retails in the $230-$250 range.

I do say it is a great base for a great shooter.

    What say you?

I must say, that's an interesting combination of parts. Most won't need anything but the trigger. I guess they're wanting to clear some inventory so that's why they're adding the other parts.

    Just one man's opinion.

They have been running this sale off and on since last November. I have picked up three of them over the months. Sometimes they will run it with the CTR or ACS-L stock at the same price.

The SSA-E might be too light of a trigger for an HD gun for some people. Hunting, precision, or competition rifles are what I'd put the SSA-E into.
I don't disagree with you there. Worst case scenario you can split the parts between builds and use the trigger for something more appropriate if need be. It's still a good deal for the parts IMO.

A little training couldn't hurt either if you're going to use an AR for Home Defense.

Maybe it's just me, I like to have spares. Getting a quality LPK for what amounts to free works for me. Can't hurt.
