    My suggestion is just got some of the $10 for 6 fixed broadheads and use those on a ground hog. A field point will just go straight through. Just like a RN 22lr probably pass straight through. It will likely run off with your shaft unless it anchors it.

    I’ve got some ~$30 for 10 CF bolts and a 6 pack of $10 fixed blade broadheads for critters.

    I reserve my $20 for 3 mechanical broad heads and $35 for 5 CF shafts for deer.

    I can’t speak to the damage difference, but accuracy those nicer CF shafts will put 3 bolts in to a 1” group at 30yds when I am doing my job and there is no wind. Those cheap shafts are more like 2” groups at 30yds.
