Electrical is 90% of my job nowadays. We have other guys to get greasy ;)

That's what I'm trained in, Electronics. However the 56 year old eyes are making it much more difficult to do the electronics/electrical work.

Had Draft on the F1. I called the ATF and spoke with the examiner. He had it fixed later in the day.
    Almost exactly 8 months.

They've been on beginning of May F4 subs for over a month now.
I need my June 1 F4 now, please.

Of course, when I get it, as usual it will be very anti-climatic. Done, next.

I had originally submitted this in April 2016 but made a small mistake and it was disapproved in May. Would've had it in a month without that mistake.

Hand delivered paperwork to MSP 3/22/16
Got it back 4/27 and took it to the LGS to submit to BATF
BATF received paperwork and processed payment from LGS on 5/16
BATF approved tax stamp on 1/13/17
LGS received it around 2/1, and made a note on the folder that they called me that day.
As of 2/22 I had not heard anything from LGS, so I called them
LGS said they left me a message on 2/1, but my cell phone didn't have a record of any calls or voice mails from LGS.

    4 weeks for MSP
    8-1/2 months for BATFE
+/- 5-6 weeks total for LGS to process (two on the front end and three on the back end)
11 months start to finish. I sure hope the Hearing Protection Act passes. I don't have the patience to go through this crap again.

People scoffed back in December when I said 8-10 months. But as you can see, most are taking this long. It was a perfect storm that has caused this delay. I submitted 3 on December 15th and was told then, a minimum of 8 months and as long as 10 months. Try not to think about it and when it does finally come in, it will be a great surprise. That's what I've done with all of mine. I do not watch the calendar. But I did wait until my other stamps were received before I submitted any additional applications.

That would be too much agony. :D
