@BossmanPJ - if you can't find a production sheath you like, you may want to consider having one made.

I was lucky and found a custom leather maker several years back. Here are a couple of pictures of his work

Custom pattern and tooled sheath for my Blind Horse Knives custom Frontier Valley.

Rick works quickly and for the most part I had my knives back with their sheaths within 10 days.

I don't carry any of my knives in a scout sheath, but I do have several in a cross draw configuration. Here is one Rick made for my PBJ Bread and Butters. It rides on my left hip. Again - custom pattern and tooling.

Happy to share his reach information via PM.

WOW! He does nice work indeed. I look forward to getting his information from you. Once I get my first "Premium" fixed blade, I will certainly contact him.

So I have only ever had cheapo folders but recently came to have a used Benchmade 5000SBK auto Presidio. I love the feel of it and have never had an auto or assisted open before so I'm enjoying having it

New addition: a small utility fixed blade EDC. The pull-the-dot loop makes it ride perfectly on the belt. It also came with a set of black G10 scales, and a set of jade G10 scales, besides the carbon fiber.

I also have a Grohmann #2 Canadian Belt Knife that just showed up as an addition to my fishing pack, but I haven't taken any pictures yet. And coming soon: two Laguiole folders on the way from France.
