Ok,AAC says use 5cc of water to make your suppressor wet.But what if your using wiring pulling gel or some other type of water based gel.
How much do you use to wet your suppressor?
Can you use White Lithium grease???

Nice thread title. :innocent0 Ok, focus on the question......

I never shoot wet. But all of my cans are relatively new models that don't really "need" much if any help. Plus, it's so much easier to just shoot.

For pistol cans.. lithium grease can be used but it smokes a lot, water is the best. Most cans nowadays can be used dry. I do not use any kind of ablatant for rifle cans.

Seriously......go with the water. Cap full from a Diet Mt. Dew bottle will last through 3 magazines on a G-19/AAC TiRant host. Works as good or better than the gels, easier to handle, and cheap.

ANY pistol/suppressor interface will benefit greatly from wetting...some more significant than others.

I need to pull my Gemtech documentation out to verify, but I remember reading that they recommend BreakFree to coat the innards and reduce or eliminate fowling.
It did not mention making it quieter though...
