Here are some pictures of the IAC copy of the Winchester 1897 trench gun I got at the MACA show on March 15. The blemishes are some light staining on the receiver, some scratches from racking, and the head of the middle screw holding the bayonet lug piece on has snapped off, probably from the previous owner trying to remove it too vigorously.

I'll be looking for one of those later this year. I've already dropped enough coin on cowboy guns and I'll need one of those for when I get into Wild Bunch matches.

I grabbed one of these a few years ago and since have wondered why every other M97 I've seen is blued and mine is parkerized. Other than the previous owner doing it or having it done I wonder if they did any this way from the factory. I'm curious if anyone who has one of these has the circle P and cartouche on the stock as well as the flaming bomb on the receiver. Mine doesn't say Norinco or IAC anywhere on it either.

Sweet, have always wanted one of those. I keep hoping they will start flowing into the country cheap again.
