What's a good optics mount (with co-witness) to use with the side rail on my Engage-built Bulgarian AK-74? Probably with a reflex sight. I've seen ones by Arsenal and Midwest Industries, but there must be others.

What about a riser to help preserve cheek weld?

You wont co witness of your using a siderail. But getva k var mount.

Are you sure? I don't know from experience but it looks like the MI mount will give a lower co-witness.

I do know that most prefer the Ultimak which is one of the best options for co-witnessing a red dot. I think I'll end up getting one of those for my Arsenal.

I've used the midwest with an AimPoint... one of the few low enough to co-witness. works well.

You're talking about the mount used with the scope rail on the side of the receiver, right? I know their hand guard is to high for Co witness.
