Jake Day is an idiot. He was also on FB openly insulting and mocking the Virginia 2A rally attenders in Richmond. He needs to mind his own business and get back to destroying Salisbury's infrastructure and wasting city taxpayer's money like the good little Socialist he is.

An HE is sworn to protect an defend the United States Constitution as an Officer in the Maryland National Guard :mad54:

    Libs being libs.

Maybe "he" should worry more about his wife's criminal charges?

The lack of information screams volumes.

If the perp is not Whitey McKlan, I hope someone force feeds Mayor Day his BS pandering video about domestic terrorists and get out racist.

As a SU alumni for just a few short years this whole situation has disgusted me. The fact they had a "healing" day to the mayor making his statements before the investigation was barely even started. I gotta admit I loved going to SU but they are indeed a liberal arts college

I was here all weekend for a tour. I’m an Alumni and my daughter will be attending SU in the fall. While she is very conservative now ..I do worry about liberal professors swaying her. however I would worry about this at most any college.

Walkways were chalked up with “hate has no home “ and there was a peaceful demonstration by about 40 black people going on. The tour guides addressed the incident right away with “I’m sure you’ve heard what happened”. We weren’t concerned about the “incident “ at all.

We realize there are haters at every college. The reaction from the school wouldn’t have been my choice but I think what we are seeing here is that the school is “dammed if you do, damned if you don’t” and they chose the safest/most “politically correct “ reaction. This is exactly how most colleges would react unfortunately. They are too afraid of being labeled as insensitive etc. Its image protection pure and simple.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were purposely holding back the suspect identity until after all the paying parents are gone for the weekend.

And I would bet money that if the “offender” is not a white male...that no domestic terrorism charges will be pursued.

I will be following up with the administration and Mayor..as soon as the identity is released.

Rumor is that it was a non-white (PC) male. This is the second time this has happened. Last time it was a non-white (PC) female.

I think committing a false hate crime should carry a stiffer penalty than committing a hate crime.

I think graffiti is destruction of property and the message is irrelevant. Hatred shouldn’t be a crime. It’s despicable but not criminal. Once we pick and choose which words are criminal and which groups can and can’t be hated, we’ve lost our freedom.

Went down yesterday and had lunch with my boy, he, his friends, and everyone he associates with thought that the school's response was beyond silly. Most of them are in the business school and don't have classes on Fridays so they viewed it as the administration giving them a four day weekend and held a "Beer Olympics" to celebrate.

It's not just Salisbury's administration that overreacted. The Women's Lacrosse game between Salisbury and Catholic University Saturday had to be postponed/rescheduled because Catholic "didn't feel comfortable" coming to the Salisbury campus. insane, just insane.

That’s exactly why they have “forfeits”. Great teaching moment for when they get out into the real world. “Sorry boss, I don’t feel comfortable coming in today”.
