Man I wish I had the land or a buddies place I can go do that. Half mile away just sounds like they have a wild hair if you know what I mean.

Hate to break the news, but 1-30 acre lots aint the "Country"
I live on 20 ac in a rural county, When I bought this property decades ago, it was somewhat country. Now I Have 1-5 acre lots around 3 sides of me.
One of the "city transplants" thought he was moving to the country on his 3 acre lot. bought 4 wheelers, driving on everyone elses property. then started shooting mag loads everyday. Sorry that aint happening 300 yards from neighbors deck or porch. It didn't end well for anyone involved.
People in the "country" are used to hearing the neighbors shooting off in the distance. 300 yards from a neighbors house is just ignorant and adding to the Anti-2A crowd.

This is what happens when Re-res move up to the country out of Columbia, Montgomery County, or Baltimore City. .

I remember living in Southern Alabama for a few years out in the country. It was nothing but peanut fields as far as the eye could see in any direction. No cable, no cell phone service, and the closest building other than chicken houses was a gas station 5 minutes drive out. I miss that.
