This is a very cool article written about my daughter Shannon.

    She is 10!!

Here is the Shooting Sports USA Article:
    https://www.ssusa.org/articles/2019/6/18/junior-high-power-shooter-shannon-moriarty/

    And the CMP One:

Consider Project Appleseed, and also NRA and CMP High Power Rifle competition.

We live in Southern Maryland...and will help anyone interested in getting involved with competing in High Power Rifle. At some point "Soon" I will need to get her involved with small bore and Air rifle...

No junior programs in your area then start your own. If there is an American Legion in your area see if they would sponsor a junior air rifle program, they can get support from the state headquarters. There are two American Legion Posts in MD with active programs Salisbury and Rising Sun and a third program is kicking off on September 4th at Perryville.

Thanks! I still am amazed that she is doing this.

At some point I will need to get her into smallbore...,, thinking NCAA stuff here

My daughter is entering OleMiss as an NCAA rifle athlete. Happy to share what we learned along the way. We leave tomorrow to make the drive. Home on 23 Aug. PM me if you’d like to chat and I’ll close the loop once I’m back in town

Well, she Earned her EXPERT classification yesterday at AGC Marriottsville during a 200 yard reduced 800 Aggregate.

Ten years old and an "Across The Course" Expert High Power Rifle competitor.

She has her eyes on the Master classification now. Her score yesterday was 2 points shy of a Master score.

I predict she will earn Master next year.

    Very proud of her.
