Need help putting a value for this. Got it in on a trade and I'm unsure on selling vs keeping vs trading. Here's the parts list from him.

    Aero precision upper and lower
Cmmg upper and lower parts kits
    Ballistic advantage Hansen barrel
    Lmt bolt carrier group
    15in keymod handguard
    B5 sopmod stock
3-3.5 pound jp enterprises trigger springs
    Ergo grip
Leupold mark ar 3-9x40 mil dot
    Burris pepr qd mount

So far I can ID the scope, mount, upper and lower, stock and grip. The rail I need to look at harder, he thinks it's a bcm.

I'm going to check headspacing and do a function check and shoot it some to see what it can do. I don't see any markings on the bipod but it's solid.

If I were to sell it what would be a fair price? Its always hard for me to price homebuilds.

That's not a BCM KMR rail, that's for sure. I couldn't say for certain what manufacturer though, but I've seen (and even possibly installed) one similar to that in the past.

The texture alone would be a dead giveaway, even after painting it.

**I think DaemonAssassin has that rail, or one extremely similar to it - on his 300BLK I helped him with.

The Strike Industries Mega Fins G2 does not look like the one the OP has. I'm leaning more towards a Leapers rail or a steel rail from eBay.

I'm thinking Amazonian. Also, the bipod is a cheapy too.

    The barrels run about $250

    FCG is $200

    $1500 minus the scope?

We can believe someone spent $1500 on it. But you never get back the parts cost when you sell a street rod or race car either.

Unless you stumble into the person for whom that rifle is their dream rifle in exactly that configuration, then figure :

Rifle without scope and mount - Same as the lowest priced AR in the local gun store.

    Scope and mount separately - $200 .

Y'all need to tell these people on armslist down here. I swear to God they take the full msrp on everything and add 10% for their time, and that's what they list guns for

Yea I've been tempted to stash it for a pre or post election sale.

Shot it today and it doesn't do too shabby at all. Shot some 55 grain soft points and 26 grains of h335, and some nosler 62 grain varmagedon with 26 grains of h335.

Once I got comfortable with the single stage trigger I got it dialed in.

Could always part it out too, barrel looks like it may perform well - so why not hang onto it?

Brad I've got that noveksee I finished. So I would have two of the same ars. I'd rather flip it and make money to fund either a dpms g2 recon in 308 or a sdn6 can.
