    The VP message has changed.

I have noticed that Joe's message has changed. He no longer talks about bans. Just background checks and "controling the carnage" with the mag limit.

If he does not pass this bill - How will he stand any chance of becoming President in 2016. His competition in New York already got his gun law passed.

There is an incredible outpouring of opposition from everywhere except NYC. I think Benito Cuomo "misunderestimated" the people of New York. This is not just switch-the-channel anger, this is get-off-the-couch-and-work-for-freedom determination. This will not dissipate by the time the next election rolls around. It will smolder, like a fire beneath the surface.

What I want to know is who these 800 people they polled are. Did they not see the 4000 of us that showed up in opposition? The 600,000 emails sent? Maybe we should send Opinion Works a few emails of our own.

    Dear Senator Miller -

Senator Raskin should be admonished (and that fact made public) for playing chess on his computer during the hearing on SB 281.

Some four thousand residents took off from work and stood in the cold for hours to be heard.

The least Senator Raskin could do was listen.

    What a poor example.

What a sad day for Maryland.

Does anyone have the pic of him playing chess?
I keep hearing about it but must have missed it.

Sorry... but I have to agree that it's probably just a wallpaper.

But then, who am I to ruin a perfectly good schmeer??!?!

    :D

Since when does a wallpaper cover up icons on the desktop?
