I'm going to put together a quick reference sheet for us to use against commonly used lines the anti's use, but I'm just one guy. I could really use your help. Post lines you've hear anti's use in the past, and feel free to suggest responses. Once I've got a good amount I'll put it together and post the reference sheet.

My MIL used that one, exactly once. I countered with how many it will cost to save just one. Then again she is not exactly and anti, just parroting a line and didn't think about it.

What would be most helpful are cites to where an Anti says "X" And cites that show that "X" is simply wrong.

You'll never win an argument with someone who is blinded by emotion.
However, if presented with the same argument, I would respond by citing the fact that the UK's gun ban had nil effect on the suicide rate.

They try to divide the argument between hunters who never CCW, people who want to defend their home and crazy 2A fanatics that think we need to be able to take over the government.
By saying the crazy fanatics should be legislated against then the intent of the 2A is lost. As soon as someone says that we need to be able to overthrow our own government, were seen as potential terrorists and lunatics.
