    Tomkat had some I have wanting to try out.
    Duffy's used to have some corbon, but I think they are out and can't get any more.

    never knew such a thing even existed... kind of defeats the purpose of a 308 doesnt it?

    Not really. I guess it depends on your intended use.
    185 grain bullet traveling at 1000fps will still do damage.
    Your jaw will drop at what you don't hear using subs and a good can.

    I don't recall where I purchased this ammo. It was years ago from a guy in TX. VERY quiet with a good can. So if you roll your own, here is the recipe. :)

    One item of note. Out of my 24" bolt gun, this ammo drops about 11" in 100 yards.

    You're correct, of course. But adjusting a scope for subsonic loads is about a thousand bucks cheaper than a new rifle and scope.

    But then you need to adjust to go back to supersonic. Then adjust back for subsonic, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

    And many people LIKE to have an excuse for another rifle. :D
