GemTech has apparently released a universal adapter system for 22lr suppressors to turn them into QD suppressors:

TFB has a review, and it looks pretty good. Not perfect, but definitely an improvement for those of us who don't like using a direct thread interface:

I'll probably grab one for my Sparrow and use it for my various rimfire hosts. Additional length doesn't bother me.
