i'm looking at one now and would like some feedback from owners here.
thanks.
thanks.
...Supposedly these went head to head against the 1911 for the US military contract firearm, guess who won?
thanks for the info! just waiting for the price. i've wanted one since seeing
Road to Perdition.
Here it is side by side with the .32 competition from Colt. Pretty easy to see why Colt sold ALOT more of their guns.
Love the Savages, I have 12 currently. Two of my rarest a factory nickel 1907 in .380 with factory letter. Only around 600 nickel pistols were produced by Savage evenly divided between the two calibers. Many people sent their blued Savage pistols off to to have them nickled so buyer beware when looking at adding a nickel pistol to your collection. The most valuable of the three models between the 1907 and 1915 and 1917 would be the model 1915 which was made in much smaller quantities, 6200 32's we're produced and only 3900 in .380. I currently have 2 1915's in .380 and 1 in .32.
Henceforth on MDS, you will also be known as (bad, bad) Leroy Brown.Mine, in .32 ACP. Nice in the hand, good accuracy, fun to shoot.
