  • Was wondering if anyone here would be able to tell me what the size is of the barrel nut. I'm looking at getting another handguard to replace the carbine length free float handguard that is currently installed. The delton offices are obviously closed so can't ask them.

The reason I want another handguard (railed) is that the outer diameter of the factory installed free float is too big to be able to drill and tap the top. This is a problem, for me at least, because I want to be able to mount back up front and rear sights and for them to be on the same plane. Also maybe a clip on nvg or thermal scope ;) Thanks guys and gals.

Ps- it is a heavy contour barrel with a high railed upper receiver
