How long have refunds been taking?

    I requested the withdrawal of a Form 1 at the end of December and it went disapproved on December 31, 2015. I have yet to receive a refund to my credit card. Figured waiting over four months for the refund was a decent enough time for the refund to show up. So, on Monday I wrote the ATF at eforms.refunds@atf.gov about the matter and I have yet to receive a response. Granted, the agency is probably overwhelmed right now.

    Anyway, I was just wondering what the rest of you were seeing in refund time frames.

    I've gotten them back as fast as 2 months, but I would not expect that now.

    I had a disapproved Form1(typo) at the end of April. I received a refund on my CC exactly 3 weeks later.

    Same for me, but in March. It really surprised me because every one on here said to expect around 3 months.

    Meh, then with my nearly 5 month wait (at least I hope it is only 5 months that I need to wait) it might average out to 3 months.

    Another guy on another chatboard has been waiting just as long as me for his refund from a disapproved Form 1 in November.
