Are you having any issues getting it to work on your GPSr?
No it's fine there. I'm having problems with getting my antique GPS to talk to the computer at all:sad20: (it uses an rs-232 interface on a USB only machine).
I usually just manually copy the data into the one app that will talk to the GPS software & then update that way.
All I meant was I'd get a copy of the updated file from your link.

    Ahhh.
Sometimes the data is to much for it to be uploaded in the normal .xls or .csv format. I posted it on POI-Factory.com in the GPX format as it would allow far more data to be visible. I need to upload it in the .csv and .ovx (for TomTom).

    Hey folks,

This is a great database and I certainly wished it existed when I started shooting here in MD! The only issue is that it is possible that not a lot of people know how to download these type of things into a GPS device, heck, I dont even have a GPS in my car. So, with that said, I went ahead and compiled a Google map from Dave's spreadsheet. There is a couple small things I need to change (like making the web address' hyperlinks, adding a phone number, and creating cooler icons) but I think this is a pretty good graphical depiction of your shooting options in MD. The map can be edited by anyone with a google account, so if something is not quite correct, feel free to edit.

I have a GPS but it is not practical to download the data to it to figure what is where. I was thinking of maybe creating a Google Map but you totally beat me to it. This is very useful. Thanks!

    paradox,
What kind of gps'r are you using?

Oh, first, thanks for compiling the data. I forgot to thank you earlier. :o

I have a Garmin nuvi something-or-other (255w I think). It is in the car right now. Getting the data onto it might not be hard but Google Maps completely beats the user interface of this device.

    Look here:

Read this web site it is great for the Nuvi:
    http://home.comcast.net/~ghayman3/garmin.gps/index.html

Go here for a LOT of vehicles for the NUVI:

If you need any help just let me know. I have the Nuvi 260 & Nuvi 1490T.

The web site shows that they have CAS, Archery, and Black Powder. Do they allow any other firearms? What ranges are available? Restroom facilities?

    Thanks

They have a rifle range with 200, 100 & 50 yard distances. A pistol Range with 50 & 25 yard distances, as well as an indoor pistol range (don't know the distances). Two Trap ranges. Not sure what else. Yes, there is a restroom.
