I shot this for the first time recently and it is quite fun. We are lucky to have a facility nearby that has a bunker setup. If you want a challenge go to PG and shoot a couple rounds.

Also if you want a complete lesson on the history of bunker trap go to PG :)

I appreciate the gentleman's passion for the game.

That's the ones with multiple level shooting positions between some of the skeet fields? I didn't realize they were going faster. Might have to try it out next time. What's the most used choke for that?

Call ahead, more likely to open it for you

One guy mainly runs it and he doesn’t work there. I think his usual day is Wednesday but I’m not 100% sure.
Definitely call ahead if you want to shoot bunker.

No, that is wobble trap mostly used by beginners. Used to have 5-stand there also until they took it down. The 5 stand was my my favorite thing to shoot there. Wished they kept it. The bunker is at the top of the hill by the radio tower.

aside from having so many machines, how is it different than regular trap? Doesn't the single machine "kinda" do the same thing?

Wobble trap will throw high and low and anyplace in between. 5 Stand had the ability to throw teals and crossers and the distance from you to the machines was also different.

Even if you were a good clay pigeon shooter, 5 Stand still had the ability to humble you. ;)

    Kinda but with an attitude.

Olympic trap has 15 throwers total.

Lots of differences. Olympic trap is much much more challenging (and fun :) ).

Targets are flying faster. Angles are harder as well. Almost totally different. What a lot of people call "wobble" isn't actually olympic trap. You also get two shots at each target and are limited to 24 gram loads (~7/8 ounce)

Here's a good write up on the differences
