WTB 20 gallon aquarium

My daughter now owns hermit crabs. Apparently they require more care than I suspected. We have a 10 gallon tank but are watching yard sales for a 20 gallon glass tank. If I wait long enough these things will die and I won't need it so I'm not looking to spend a lot but if you have one you're not using, let me know. Probably better to respond here, my inbox is always full.

I have a tall 45 gal, but that may be overkill. I can post a photo Monday if interested. Needs a scrub, but it's in otherwise good shape. It would be yours for nothing.

Our tank is a little smaller than you need. Also check local Goodwill, etc.

I hate to ask, but could you measure that for me? I need to know if it will fit in the dresser.

DC-W, thanks for the offer but that is almost certainly too large.

No problem. Plenty of kindness to go around here on MDS!

How many Hermit Crabs do you have? A 10 gallon aquarium should be large enough for 3-4 if they are small. Slope the sand up one side of the aquarium. Go from a shallow waterline, and build up gradually to about 3-4 inches above the waterline. You should be good to go for some time before you need a larger aquarium.

I was curious which top, glass vs mesh, was better and the opinions are all over there. http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com...ic.php?t=55667

No matter what it seems complicated.

Sorry Joppaj the reptile tank isn't available anymore. My daughter just gave it away. My apologies.
