    Hi, probably both good choices.
    I have the 10-22 take down and just purchased a Mark IV .22 pistol.
    Both fun guns and cheap to practice with .

    Tell me about it! Just getting started with the MD required training and paperwork. I watched a few YouTube video during the stay at home order to get antiquated with the community. The #1 thing that I will always spend money on and always do so before purchasing firearms will be safety and training. A single mistake may be the only mistake. That's scary.

    A great safe, is a good start. We can a small 2 gun nightstand safe to start.

    I started watching some USCCA videos provided with the membership and I'm starting to realize I'm going to at least want a firearm per level of the house.....this is gonna get pricey. But my safety and that of my family is worth more than getting some new shoes etc....

    I see this quickly becoming a hobby.....an expensive one. :cool::D

    Wow! Just looked up the Mark IV .22; STAR WARS BLASTER!!??....Sigh..just what I needed. Another gun to add to my "wants" list. :lol:

    If you really want to start spending money look up Hi Standard (some people advertise them as High Standard) Supermatic Trophy .22 pistol. It's the only US manufactured .22 to win an Olympic gold medal.
