I've been thinking about getting the Ruger GSR myself. What's the going retail for these now days?

Depends... around 850 bucks, then add about 100 bucks per extra mag.

Still haven't picked out a scope.. actually hadn't had the time... figure when I get ahead of the honey-do; will grab a couple of my unused pistol scopes and try 'em out....

I recently bought a Ruger Gunsite Scout and could not be happier. I prefer to shoot sans scope, but I can tell you that it is out of the box a very well balanced rifle and a very comfortable weight. I got mine for about +/-$850. the only issue I have is that it seems to have a problem sometimes with 7.62 surplus cartridges ejecting. But I would also say that I am not completely sure that I am not part of the problem.

For anyone with the Ruger - do you have the same issue? I am going to go out next time with .308 Super X and see what happens....:o:rolleyes:
