I found John on this forum and had a few conversations before agreeing to have the trigger lightened up while keeping the stock appearance on the firearm. It's been a few months since John did the trigger on my SA Mil-Spec 1911. The factory trigger was nothing to write home about and I was wanted to have the pull lightened up to the 3.5 - 4.0 range. I wanted to give the pistol a good workout before writing a review.
Having now fired 200 rounds thru it I am quite pleased with the pull, smooth and light, and I have had zero issues with the trigger. I also asked the range master where I shoot fire a clip through it just to get a second opinion, not telling him the trigger had been worked until after he shot. The first thing he said he was "man, this trigger is nice."
John was very professional throughout the process and his price was fair.
