Good, finally back in, boss was starting to get suspicious that I'm finishing work too fast, co-workers getting angry I was making them look bad. If it went on much longer I would be in danger of doing a good job:ohnoes:

Heard from DD214. We had a surge in traffic that sent us over our quota.

He paid the overage charge and everything should be fixed soon.

I'm ignorant of these things, does a surge in traffic mean too many users/guests at one time? If so I guess that's kinda bitter/sweet.

Would a donation to MSI offset his cost? Or is there a direct fund for the forum website?

Two different entities entirely. There's a link on the forum homepage to donate to the forum.

I can't say as any type of customer I'm trilled with the service provider's method for quota enforcement (yanking DNS records). Usually a provider will force a redirect to a web page one way or another telling visitors something/anything; to yank DNS records completely is just plain wrong in my book.
