Well, yes and no. How often do we see 1700s or 1800s flintlock pistols or musketoons in the C&R forum? The C&R forum has for the most part morphed into a military surplus forum. About the only people posting there are 03 FFL holders. I can probably count on one hand who many genuine antiques I've seen there that are not military surplus.
Actually the ATF defines antiques as pre-1899 firearms and firearms and replicas that use don't use fixed or rimfire or centerfire ammunition, such as muzzleloading percussion, flintlock or matchlock ignition systems.
You need no FFL, C&R or otherwise, at all to buy or sell them unless there are state and local ordinances about them.
