    Suppose I knew someone who had a g17 frame complete...what else would he need to finish it? Slide, barrel, and sights? Anything else? I'm afraid my friend doesn't know anyone with a Glock to compare parts.

    Lone Wolf Distributors’ Complete Glock Reference Guide might be a good resource for your friend.

    Looks like it’s currently on sale, for $15.

    Yea and shipping is damn near the cost of the book.

    Do all Glocks have a plastic guide rod? Seems really flimsy for such an important part.

    They come with them. I have never had an issue. There are a myriad of replacements available.
