I have watches but haven't worn them really often; if not at all now for the past few years. Have to say I don't miss them on my wrist.

It used to be that I felt naked if I didn't have one on. Now no longer have that sensation.
    .

Want to sell off some of your old collection? Always looking for neat pieces with some history.

Found a little spoon to compliment my watch.

Dude, I love that Milgauss but.... how do you like the Seamasters? I've been looking at the Seamaster 300 as a gift to myself for getting the next big cert in my field :D

    I love that coined bezel:

I love all of my watches but I’ll never get rid of my SMPc. So that statement should say enough.

    It's no secret

If you're rockin' swatch (Think Hamilton, Tissot, and the rest of the yahoo's under that giant umbrella), servicing your automatic is $200 for non-chronos and $400 for chronos. So you have to decide if it's worth servicing or buying a new version of the same watch sometimes lol.

My brother had his Explorer II service at the Rolex store in NYC while we were up there and they mailed it back to him at the cool cost of $750 (included complete crystal replacement).

Omega is part of the Swatch group.
I take all my watches to an independent local watchmaker, I would never send it back to the factory unless absolutely necessary, I’ve heard too many other horror stories about poor work. Some manufacturers will replace an entire movement instead of just the part needed.
On a newer watch not a huge deal, on a vintage piece it can devalue the watch.
Watches are mechanical pieces and therefore need regular lubrication (roughly every 5 years) not unlike a car engine or firearm.

This is my new daily wear watch I got for my birthday. It's nothing fancy-schmancy - Just a Citizen Eco drive Chrono that you can get on Amazon for $150, but I sure do like it a lot.

Breitling Superocean. On my wrist daily for 21 yrs...this watch has been some places. Looks good, tough, fairly accurate. The Superocean is the only Breitling I've ever wanted (along with the B-1....I'd rock a B-1 any day.)

Picked this up a few weeks ago. Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical. 38mm case.
    Really like the retro look.

This is mine...Suunto ambit 3. I’m kind of a Suunto fanboy. My dive computer is also a Suunto.
