The option for Federal Judges was separate from Supreme Court nominees, but both were exercised.
Someone else posted that the Dems were throwing some procedural hurdles up to slow down or stop the process again.

I thought they were demanding 30 hours of debate even on uncontroversial nominees - and gumming up the works.
That is correct. Except if the nominee is a Democrat of course

Speaking with a co-worker in Mexifornia. They are nervous that as of now , Trump has enough openings on the 9th to flip it. Is this true? It took all my willpower not to gloat.
5 vacancies. 2 Future vacancies
Not enough to flip it. But with the 9th they have so many district court judges sitting by designation that you never know what you get.

Not enough to flip, but definitely enough to do away with the "circus" moniker. That is, assuming he nominates Constitutionalists.

To be fair, this guy was acting in his capacity as AG, and defending his state's laws in court. That's his job. I've had to take positions on behalf of clients that I don't like as well.
