Hello all, I have a remington model 11 (browning A5) that has a cracked stock. I went to replace it and the "tail" that houses the bolt return spring has fallen out. It looks as if the solder has failed. I have brazed copper pipes but have never soldered a pice such as this and was wondering if anyone has any tips beyond the clean and decrease well don't over heat etc.
Wouldn't be better to sweat it or just have the solder pull into the joint?
Thanks for any tips or "ask me how I know" stories.
