Bloomberg's gang salivating as we approach Jan 20:

    https://everytown.org/report/how-th...ddress-gun-violence-through-executive-action/

I expect at least half of these to come to fruition.

*****What a horribly misinformed and biased article. I really really hope you are wrong with respect to how much actually ends up being passed/enforced/happening.

I honestly don't know what to think, but at least *hope* that at least some of the people who bought collectively millions of firearms prior to the election this year will push back against some of the proposals outlined in that article.

Elections have consequences. I know plenty of gun owners who are liberal, voted for Biden, and think somehow there will be no real change in gun laws that affect *their* ownership. The usual "Sensible" gun control, reducing inner city gun violence, etc..

Basically, many of these people are emotionally driven imbeciles that think the government can somehow legislate morality of criminals who don't care that they are breaking the law...

The new restrictions will only affect law abiding gun owners.

EO cannot create new laws, except for DACA apparently, and can only direct federal agencies. In essence none of what they suggest should be able to be completed under executive fiat.

He can direct the IRS and other regulatory agencies to "investigate" companies that don't fall into lone.

Just the threat of IRS investigation into big banks and small businesses will be all that's needed.

You mean like the ban on bumpstocks????????

From CNN. Be certain to read ALL the words.

"Biden told civil rights leaders in private meeting that progressives' hopes for executive actions are 'way beyond the bounds' of his presidential authority"

"Biden told a group of seven leaders of civil rights organizations that some progressive Democrats are urging executive actions that are "way beyond the bounds" of a president's legal authority. The comments reflect what Biden has said publicly about the limited scope of executive action and the need for presidents to work with Congress to enact long-lasting policy.
In the meeting, Biden said he planned to roll back everything President Donald Trump has done through executive action, rather than with the approval of Congress. He said he would use his powers "to undo every single damn thing this guy has done by executive authority."
"I am not going to violate the Constitution. Executive authority that my progressive friends talk about is way beyond the bounds," he said."

"But, he said, he would not seek to use executive action to mandate policy changes that he has long said are up to Congress to make.
Biden cited gun control as an example, saying that if he signed an executive order banning assault weapons, a future Republican president could undo that ban and use it as a precedent to drastically expand gun rights.

"We do that, next guy comes along and says, 'Well, guess what? By executive order, I guess everybody can have machine guns again,' " he said. "So we gotta be careful."

You are assuming that Slo-Joe will be POTUS. POTUS will more than likely be Commie Harris. Completely different ballgame.

I listened to the audio of the leaked call between Biden and Civil Rights leaders referenced above. They were looking for Police reform and Biden basically told them to go pound sand.

Much like how the R party ignores gun owners after the election, the D party ignores black people after the election.

So true...the Dems have always simply used the black community as their in-house servants. They give them a few more or less inconsequential seats at the table but never follow through on promises. They just keep them hungry enough to vote for them and more promises.

Biden supported the 93 crime bill, Kamala jailed black men for weed and even tried to keep a man exonerated in prison and those fools were stupid enough to think they cared about them

That would also make gun owners fools for thinking the R party cared about them.

Both parties are set up to cater to corporate donors.
