    I heard that if hired you have to relocate for two years before you can pick where you want to go. That is the only reason I didn't apply.

    You are placed where they have needs. You do not necessarily have to relocate. There is no requirement to live in your patrol area. You are issued a vehicle but it's up to you how long you want to commute. I know guys that live in Western and drive to MoCo or Baltimore everyday.

    I got my letter to go for testing in July, but i had plans to be out of the country.

    I thought about sending and email or calling and asking for an extension but i fear is too late :(.

    Oh well, maybe next time.
