On your typical range session, what do you use to bring your firearms from your vehicle to the shooting area? What do you keep your ammunition in? If you're bringing in long guns, what else do you take and how do you get it all to your lane?

long 2 gun bag for rifles and tools/accessories. Small bag with 2 or 3 pouches for handguns. Ammobox with a lock on it for ammo and mags. Typically I'm holstering up at the car. Private club.

Soft or hard gun case(s) for firearms & small hand truck with 1 or 2 crates stacked for various things like rests, tools etc... For ammo I use a 50 cal ammo can.

    Small range/club.

Back the truck up to the hut/bench, drop tailgate and use it as a table 6 feet from bench.

I need to count my blessings.

If I'm shooting with SNI (Bolts Rock can attest to this) Her guns on my back in a carrying bag with two straps like a bookbag.
Left Arm draped over shoulder. Her range bag (targets, ammo, drinks, stapler, 500 staples, tape, cookies if she's feeling charitable)
Right Hand: Target stand assembly per AGC rules, and occasionally extra ammo.
Left hand: my ammo can with loaded mags, holster, stapler, tape, folded up targets and 10x monocular.
Gun (if pistol) is worn appendix and I unload the gun and clear the chamber on the line. If rifle I sling it over my back.

    Soooo....

Look for a nice used hard golf bag with little wheels like a suitcase. It'll hold as many long guns as you may need to shoot in a trip. (I put them in sleeves or soft cases inside. I also put my spotting scope in.)

Add ammo can and or range bag and you are done.

    No more than issues.

you know there are times that I wonder if carts that I see for golf would be helpful with some modifications or something more like the guys from cowboy action shooting utilize.
