Way to hot and humid for me. I need a little cooler weather. Harvey

Well I decided to give another try tonight. And on top of the heat and humidity, my neighbor has decided that today is the perfect time to chop down half the forest. So I am sitting here sweating listening to his chainsaw.

This little guy just came in for dinner. Tough to see but he has lumps on him head, barely out of spots. I will not be as forgiving to him mama.

One buck out of velvet, one in velvet. Different parts of MD?

No, just different deer. They are all in the process of going "hard-horned" at this time of year. Just like some of lose our hair at different ages, some deer come out of velvet sooner than others.

Sat last night for a few hours, let one nice doe walk. Damn near died dragging a doe out of my gully when it was 50 degrees last year, wasnt dragging anything with out horns yesterday. Sitting in the stand though I saw atv tracks passing right under it, then found this on my camera...

Awesome heart shot! So was that moma?

One or them. Just before 6pm another baby (maybe the same one) came in with a doe born last year. The bigger one lined up perfectly between me and the baby. Must admit I was tempted to take a double shot, but decided that was not the right thing to do. Momma was behind them and took an extra couple minutes to come in. As soon as she passed the brush, at about 23 yards I let the bolt fly. She didn't go 50 yards and then dropped. From shot to cooler was just under 1 1/2 hours. Kept the fish, we will be eating good tonight.

No dice, but we had a great time. Got into the low 30s last night. My buddy the "sasquatch" in his natural habitat.

Are they trespassing? Can you have them cited or arrested? If so, I would.

I think I would print out the pic, post it on trees in the area and let them know that you have also given copies to the police/game wardens. May keep the turds away.

Good pic of them and if caught getting that $$ 4 wheeler seized would get their attention!
