I don't see any need to add further discomfort on the OP. There are many approaches to speaking up for our Right. Careful and tempered seem the best to me.

This is one of my favorite arguments. I love to point out how the citizens of 40+ states enjoy these rights and ask them what makes them LESS worthy. I also bring up the Jim Crow origins of gun control and ask them how they could support such policies.

No discomfort here. I see just as many uninformed posters on MDShooters as I do in the general public.
