Anyone seen any coyotes on the state ground in Washington or Allegheny counties? I'm still learning this area and want to kill some with the upcoming mating season in February and march.

Have you been out scouting? Yotes will run logging trails and powerline cuts. Look for fresher tracks and scats.

I saw one awhile back standing right in the middle of I-68W, a mile or so past the Lavale exit near Cumberland. I thought it was a dog until I was within 35-40 yards of it.

Thanks for the info. This is my first year hunting them in Maryland. I wanted to wait until the deer season is over before I go out and start tracking them down. Some fresh snow would definitely help out.

If they are closed to daily traffic, I would think they are GTG if we are talking about skid roads. Call the HQ and ask them.
