Not IMO. But I guess you'll be disarming before relieving yourself.

    Not me. seems pretty clear

ETA-Not mentioned, but are these prohibitions applied to licensed CCW holders as well?

Here is the statute. If you have legal CCW permit, it's perfectly fine to carry.

GREAT area, Jefferson/West Jefferson were on my possible retirement areas.

As far as your question goes.... :o I dunno.

I grew up there. Spent every summer in Mountain City with my grandparents. I remember the Jefferson/ West and NC areas well. They have a lot of drug use now a days, but who doesn’t. Beautiful country.

    UPDATE:

Spent 3 days in the Boone/Blowing Rock area and carried off and on in both areas.

There was only one store on all of Main St. in Blowing Rock, the Kilwin's Ice Cream, that was signed.

The Moses Cone Manor on the Parkway was signed, but I expected that since it's Park Service property and they are almost universally signed unless they are concessions like at Skyland or Big Meadows (with the exception of the visitor's center at Big Meadows which is signed).

Moses Cone was no big deal as we were primarily hiking. We walked back to town after our hike, showered and changed, and then rode back up to walk around the house ( 5 minute drive) before dinner.

Didn't carry as much in Boone because we were often going for a meal which meant I was leaving the firearm secured because I like beer.
